BOSE Announces 40% Relaxation In Syllabus
Srinagar, Oct 23: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday announced that annual regular examination for class10th and 12th will commence from 9th and 10th November respectively for Kashmir and winter zone of Jammu.
The announcement in this regard was made by Advisor to Lt Governor K K Sharma in a tweet.
“BOSE (Board of School education) increases relaxation by 40%, Students to attempt 60% marks which will be raised to 100%. Done in interest of Students. Exams will end on 27th Nov & 9th Dec respectively,” he added.
There were rumors that examinations may be held after the ensuing bypolls to panchayats and today’s announcement has put all speculations to the rest.
The BOSE had reportedly said it will be a hectic exercise for it to reschedule the examinations.
The chairperson JKBOSE had earlier stated that the examinations for both the classes will be conducted after November 15.
The JKBOSE had delayed the exams to mid-November as students demanded “ample time for preparation”.
