National Voters Day celebrated held at Mini secretrait Hall Tangdar.

Karnah 25 Jan: In connection with 8th National Voters day (NVD), a programme held at Sub Division karnah to educate new voters regarding the importance of exercising their franchise.

The Day is held every year on January 25 to encourage youngsters, who have reached the age of 18, to participate in the electoral process. The central theme for the 8th voters Day is ‘Accessible Elections’.

In karnah a function was held at Mini secretrait Hall Tangdar karnah to celebrate the Voters Day. Sub Divisional magistrate karnah Dr.Ilyas Nasir attended the function while Naib Tehsildar Tangdar,Naib Tehsildar chamkote, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.

On the occasion, the SDM distributed Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) among newly enrolled voters.
