During the visit, the Hon’ble Home Minister personally reviewed the ground situation and was briefed in detail about the damages, rescue operations, and relief measures undertaken so far. He has assured Government’s full support, and emphasized that all possible assistance will be extended to mitigate the suffering of the people.
The Hon’ble Home Minister will be assessing the situation further and necessary relief and rehabilitation measures will be announced accordingly.
Sh. Sunil Sharma expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Home Minister for his prompt visit and concern for the people of Jammu & Kashmir in this hour of crisis. He reiterated that the Centre Govt., is committed to stand shoulder to shoulder with the affected families until normalcy is fully restored.
