J&K Police rescue 75-yr-old homeless man, shift him to SMHS hospital: Official

His family whereabouts are being ascertained


Srinagar, Nov 9: The video of an eelderly man of Awantipora Pulwama was reported by Kashmir Crown editor in chief Shahid Imran in srinagar last night.75-Year old was staying outside Hanuman Mandir in Srinagar.Srinagar police chief Rakesh Balwal took notice of the incident and sent his rescue team and shifted this old man to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh(SMHS) hospital within one hour after the video went viral.
A police official said that they found the 75-year-old man, whose family whereabouts are yet to be ascertained, severely ill.

“He has been staying outside Hanuman Mandir since long and had fallen ill. He was rescued and shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
The person was identified as Ali Mohammad Dar, a resident of Baroosa, Awantipora.
