Today Byju’s and Niti Aayog launched its Career Plus Programme under Aspirational District Project at DC Office Kupwara where Byju’s had earlier conducted ACST test of 200 students in Kupwara District out of which 39 meritorious students were selected for the program. Currently Byju’s launched its program with the distribution of tabs to all the 39 Students and also expressed that they will also be providing the study materials and earphones along with supporting them with 2 of the established HiTech centers in the district at BHSS Kupwara and Handwara. The students will be coming to the centre and start learning from the centre where Byju’s will be closely monitoring the students academics and test preparations for the effective implementation the program in the district. The students will be provided with 2 years of full coaching from Aakash+Byju’s faculties in which the teachers will be one of the best teachers of the country with complete coaching and Daily Practice Problems, Evaluation and Individual mentoring to the students.
Additional District Development Commissioner Mr. Altaf who was chief guest of the program launched the Career Plus Program and distributed tabs to all the students, also he launched the second campaign which was in collaboration of Piramal Foundation and Byju’s on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy for Class 1st to 5th students and expressed that these coaching program will really help the students to build their career and they are very lucky to be selected from 200 students by qualifying the exam and he wished the students to put complete efforts and he hopes that all the students have the calibre to clear these competitive exams of JEE & NEET. He also expressed that the FLN campaign will really help the students to build their conceptual learning and also help to improve the indicators of Niti Aayog Aspirational District of SLO which is one of the important components of Education.
Joint Director of Planning and Nodal Officer of Niti Aayog Mr. Abdul Majeed & Assistant Director of Planning Mr. Maqbool Lone, District Cultural Coordinator Mr. Rayes Ahmad also graced this occasion and distributed the tablets and wished the students for successful completion and clearance of JEE and NEET exam.
Chief Education Officer Kupwara Mr. Abdul Hamid Fani graced the program and expressed his views that this program is one of the innovative program of Niti Aayog and Byju’s and this will really help the students to take major benefits and gain great knowledge through this program and ensure that whatever support the students will be needed, they will provide complete guidance and support from the Education Department for making this program a success with the development of students in getting access to education. He also expressed that FLN campaign is really helpful which has been launched by Piramal Foundation and Byju’s under Aspirational District Collaborative and it will help the students to build the foundation skills and literacy and also help them to learn about Maths too with conceptual clarity and in this campaign Byju’s is supporting by providing free digital e- learning content to class 4th and 5th students who will be identified from the Baseline Assesment done by Piramal Foundation in 104 schools and 4 educational zones of Kupwara District.
Niti Aayog and BYJU’S Project Manager, Consultant Fellow of Kupwara expressed that the 39 students have a great calibre and potential of which we will try to maximise it to the full extent for helping them in gaining a better knowledge, understanding and all the necessary support for taking up the classes and individual mentoring support which will not only help the child to put complete efforts but also we will try to look aftrr the various aspects which will be hampering the child learning by enabling parents to monitor and support the children with good nutrition, sleep and moral support for putting full participation throughout the two years of program as these are also one of the important components which as a organization we have to look at for helping them in maximum ways as possible.
